HOW IT WORKS
1. TELL US ABOUT YOUR ROUTINE
Complete the request form below with information about your dancer, routine, music, desired length, and editing needs.
Don’t know exactly where your cuts should happen? That’s okay.
Give us your desired length and tell us what you’d like to keep, remove, or accomplish. We’ll use our musical judgment to help create an edit that works naturally for your routine.
2. SEND YOUR MUSIC & INSTRUCTIONS
Provide your song files or let us know which music you’ll need us to obtain.
The more information you provide, the better we can understand your vision.
Have specific timestamps? Send them.
Need an extra 8-count?
Want a certain chorus?

3. WE CREATE YOUR EDIT
Once we have everything needed for your project, SMR will professionally create your music around your instructions, choreography, and desired performance length.
Most standard projects are completed within approximately 72 hours.
Larger productions and projects submitted during peak competition or recital season may require additional turnaround time.
4. RECEIVE YOUR PERFORMANCE-READY MUSIC
Your completed project will be professionally reviewed, labeled, and delivered as a high-quality 320 kbps MP3 file unless another format has been arranged.
Then it’s time to press play and get back to choreography.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW
TURNAROUND TIME
Most standard music edits are completed within approximately 72 hours after all required music, information, and instructions have been received.
Turnaround times may vary during peak competition and recital season or for larger and more complex projects.
Need it sooner?
Rush Service is available for $25 or $50 for Same Day Rush Service when scheduling permits.
Rush availability is not guaranteed.
REVISION POLICY
Every SMR music edit includes one complimentary revision.
We understand that choreography can evolve once you begin working with the completed music.
After your complimentary revision, all additional revision rounds are $15 each.
To help avoid unnecessary revision fees, please submit all requested changes together whenever possible.
SMR CORRECTIONS ARE ALWAYS FREE.
If a correction is necessary because SMR Music Edits made an error or did not follow your originally submitted instructions, that correction will not count as a paid revision.
MUSIC & MEDIA DOWNLOADS
Whenever possible, clients are encouraged to provide their own legally obtained music files.
If SMR needs to obtain a requested audio source on your behalf, a $6 media download fee per track may apply.
Any applicable media fees will be included with your project total.
CONTENT POLICY
PERFORMANCE-APPROPRIATE MUSIC MATTERS.
SMR Music Edits does not create edits containing vulgar or explicitly inappropriate content.
If your selected music contains language or content that needs to be removed, please indicate this when submitting your request.
When possible, we can professionally remove or modify inappropriate material while preserving the musical flow of the track.
PAYMENT
Project pricing is based on the service requested and any applicable add-ons.
Any applicable charges will be communicated as part of your project process.
Please do not submit payment for services that have not yet been confirmed.
Your completed music will be delivered according to SMR’s current payment and delivery policies.
