HOW LONG DOES AN EDIT TAKE?
Most standard projects are completed within approximately 72 hours after all required materials and instructions have been received.
Turnaround may vary during peak competition and recital season or for larger productions.
Rush service may also be available when scheduling permits.
WHAT FORMAT WILL I RECEIVE?
Final music is professionally exported and delivered in high-quality 320 kbps MP3 format, providing excellent audio quality and broad compatibility with competition and performance systems.
CAN I REQUEST SPECIFIC CUTS?
Absolutely.
If you already know exactly what you want removed, repeated, shortened, or rearranged, include those instructions with your request.
If you don’t know exactly where the cuts should happen, that’s okay too. Tell us your desired length and what you’re trying to accomplish, and we’ll use our musical judgment to create the edit.
CAN YOU CREATE MULTI-SONG MIXES?
Yes.
SMR offers Performance Mixes for projects using 2–5 songs as well as larger Custom Productions for more advanced concepts.
CAN YOU CLEAN UP INAPPROPRIATE CONTENT?
Yes.
SMR can remove or modify inappropriate language when possible while working to maintain the musical flow of the track.
SMR Music Edits does not create edits containing vulgar or explicitly inappropriate content.
DO YOU WORK WITH INDIVIDUAL DANCERS?
Yes!
Although we work extensively with dance studios and choreographers, individual dancers and families are also welcome to submit music requests.
DO YOU OFFER REVISIONS?
Yes!
We understand that choreography can evolve once you get into the studio.
Your first revision is complimentary. Any additional revisions are $15 per revision.
To help us get your edit right the first time, we encourage you to provide as much detail as possible when submitting your original music request.
